About the product

The robust multiturn encoders AM ... 40 and AM ... H 40 can be deployed in a wide range of applications for detecting positions and rotational speeds in rolling and steel mills, in mining as well as in ports and crane systems. They provide precise information about the position of the shaft and the number of rotations; for example, they are installed in hoisting equipment in order to be able to determine the exact position at any time. In particular, thanks to the extremely robust foot design, it is possible to attach additional encoders to the other shaft end.
