Utilizing a magnetic, non contact scanning principle the encoders are tolerant of large axial and radial play. Large shaft diameters up to 1500 mm possible. The noiseless magnetic encoders do not generate any heat. The version with a split pulse wheel is particularly suitable for retrofitting and upgrade projects.
