A variety of rudder indicators, standard and customized
The new series is designed for use on ships. Typical applications for these indicators are the display of thrust direction and rudder angle for POD operation, propeller pitch, propeller and engine speed as well as the display of other physical quantities. The digital electronics allow for easy connection via standard signal inputs such as 0 - 10 VDC, 0 - ±10 VDC or 0/4-20 mA. The advantages over indicators with moving coils are the higher vibration resistance and the wider operating temperature range. Displays between 90° and 360° in a customer-oriented scale design are available. The illumination of the scale and pointer is specially adapted to the conditions on ship bridges.
