Absolute encoder for positioning purposes. The MA430 series is a range of absolute encoders supporting communication protocols such as SSI, PROFIBUS or CAN. Additional incremental signals can also be provided with TTL or HTL output levels.

The extremely robust design and encapsulation of the encoder series enables it for use in Marine or Off-shore environments. Mines & Cranes are two other suitable fields of operation for the series.

Mechanically, the MA430-series is based on a ø11mm solid shaft with key-way to prevent slip. The mounting flange is compatible with previous tachogenerator interfaces including a B10 mounting flange. The entrance design is made out of high grade stainless steel.
