EGD50 dual redundant CAN-open sensor SOLAS
About the product
Designed to meet the latest SOLAS regulations in maritime applications such as propulsion and rudder systems.Customized housing.
EGD50 DOUBLE CAN-OPEN ENCODER
Build up to conform to the latest Solas rules for main drives and rudder systems
Absolute Encoders with CANopen output signal measure positions accurately. With the series of type EGD 50 Dr. E. Horn GmbH presents an encoder which detects by a non-contact magnetic sensor element the position of drives over 360 °. This encoder is specifically designed for the detection of rotational movements in mechanical engineering and provides a linearity of ± 0.3 ° over a wide temperature range. Designs with up to 3 separate signal outputs as CANopen (DS-401 V 4:01) and 4 … 20 mA are available. For the signal output cable lengths of up to 500 m can be used with minimal wiring. A CiA software certificate for the CANopen protocol is available. The housing shape and the shaft connection are executable according to the customer's demands. This technology offers a robust design and an excellent price-performance ratio.
Build up to conform to the latest Solas rules for main drives and rudder systems.
