The robust design of the encoder permits it to be used in mobile outdoor applications. Monting procedure of the device if simplfied due to the through going assembly screws mounted thru the cover of the encoder. This feature enables the encoder to be moutned from behind. The outer diameter of the encoder is ø68mm which makes it a bit more robust compared with other, smaller encoder models.
